T-Day in T-Town
Submitted by Lioness
Well, I am now back from my adventure up to Toledo and the surrounding areas, glad to have seen more of Ohio besides from a car or plane. There were some good times, and great adventures that I know you are dying to read about. Crayfarts.com showed me a great time, and it beat having to suffer through my family. The pictures are on the photo page, should you be interested.

Wednesday: I headed up with Phil and his dad, picking up the car he bought from his grandfather along the way. It is an '87 Escort, but I have no doubt that it will be pimped out by Christmas. We then went over to the Linencing Bureau to get plates. Here we encountering some interesting things such as a truck with a dead dear in the bed, and a very pregant 15 year old trying to get her licence. "Welcome to Oregon", Phil said. That night, we went to Jed's- the guys hang out with Jim. The guys became very distraught over the fact that the walls had been changed from orange to red.

Thursday: I had dinner with the Smith's, which was very enjoyable (Phil's mom being a home ec. teacher was a plus). That night, we all went bowling, where the guys continually made farting noices to distract each other.

Friday: Off to Ryan's House for his surprise 21st birthday party. We stopped off in Lorraine, where the guys old high school, St. Francis, had their football team in the semi-finals. While the team ran a close game, and ended up winning, the guys recalled their band geeks days. Ryan's party was a hit, as Kara gave Ryan and Phil Terrance and Phillip shirts. The pictures will tell the rest.

Saturday: Went to the Symphony with Phil, Jon, and Jon's parents. It was a holiday concert and was really nice. The guys, of course indulged in the free wine and cookies.

Sunday: What else, sleeping, shopping (with Mrs. Smith and Maridee while Phil slept), and heading back to UD, packed full of many containers of food a la Phil's mom.

I must admit, it was a good time having Sarah in Oregon for the break. Just a few comments I have to make about the story. There certainly was a dead DEER in the truck, not to be confused with a dear and the walls went from orange to yellow. The girl at Jeds was a bit slow too, but the food was still really good. As for making fart noises during bowling, that part is very true, but I thought, I'd just point that out again. The T & P shirts rock hard, Happy Birthday Ryan and thanks much Kara. The symphony was really cool, thanks Jon & parents for that. Tim Anderson would be proud of me. I'm not arguing with the sleeping thing on Sunday either, thats why I was late gettting back. I think from now on CFdC should just offer Toledo as a vacation spot, like they have with NASA, charge people to come home with us. Now, I know it isn't as cool as space or anything, but we are pretty cool, if I must say so myself.
