(User Info | Send a Message) http://www.hufford.org/ | Did you hear the newest rumor about this lawsuit? Andrew Newdow lied about the whole thing to get it into court. The guy stated that his daughter was an athiest (Lie #1) and that she was forced to recite the Pledge (Lie #2, she likes to recite the Pledge).
Apparently most of the news organizations decided not to interview the daughter, however one did. Seems she lives with her mother. The kid's mother and father are divorced because the mother and daughter are devout Catholics and they couldn't stand living with an athiest.
Add this bit of info to the fact that the Senate voted 99-0 to try to overturn the decision, it doesn't look like this will be unconstitutional much longer. |

(User Info | Send a Message) http://www.jonscheiding.com | You know, I thought this whole lawsuit was stupid at first too ... but the more I think about it, the harder it is to argue, from a non-Christian perspective, against this Newdow guy. Granted, he should have better things to do, but that alone doesn't necessarily make him wrong.
