Parking Services Again and Again and Again

Just a little note to inform everyone with another stupid policy that Parking "services" (word "Services" used very lightly) has. I got another ticket for parking in a wrong lot again a few weeks ago and have been tring to pay the thing, but they close at 4:00! <-- I wish I had that schedule.

But, this is not the problem. My ticket was for $25 - No Pass becuase the officer did not see my pass to another lot which would normally be a $10 fee. I thought, hey no big deal, I was only parked for 30 minutes but they got me and it will only end up being $10 because everyone knows that you can just show them your parking pass and they will reduce the fee to a $10 - wrong lot. Enter stupid policy... [Parking "services" person] Oh, an officer wrote you this ticket, not a Parking "services" person, therefore the fine cannot be reduced until you pay the fine and then appeal. [Ryan] Okay, so why can't you just look in your computer database and see that I have a pass and just reduce the fine, thus avoiding paperwork. [Parking "services" person] Becuase an officer wrote you this ticket. I should also mention that while this conversation was taking place, my heart went out to the woman next to me. She told parking "services" that her son, a first year, just got a ticket for parking his car when he came back from work. She said that their first year student policy sucks and that he has to have a job becaus they cannot afford to send him to this school unless he chips in - by the way, that policy is that no first-year can have a pass unless there is a certain job that is so many miles away I believe. She then threw the credit card at the lady, they ran it, she walked out and said, "What a bunch of A--holes."
