crazyfarts dot com - A funny driving range story.

Alright, I know I have told some of you this story before, but it is funny enough to make a story of it.
I was at the driving range a while ago in Oregon called the Ball Works. It is really the only place to go hit golf balls in Oregon without paying a fortune, so naturally, that’s where everyone goes. People of all skill levels show up to try their might at golfing, many failing miserably. It always proves to be quite entertaining and this day was no exception.

There was an oversized fellow down about 4 spots from me who really sucked. It looked like he found a set of clubs in his garage and decided to try his hand at hitting a few on the range. He looked completely ridiculous because he was trying so hard that he would whiff every time. After some time, he chilled out and was able to make some contact, but the ball only dribbled about 2 feet forward, if forward at all. Now this is a pretty dangerous place to begin with, but crossing over the yellow rope to retrieve balls is even more dangerous. It is not uncommon for someone to hit a ball completely sideways. There are signs posted all over that say you should stay behind the line, but this guy was determined to get the balls back he just duffed. After doing this a few times, the attendant reminded him to stay behind the line. The guy really didn't seem to care and continued to do it. The attendant yelled over again, "Excuse me, please stay behind the yellow rope line." At this point the husky "golfer" was mad he was being reprimanded and gave the attendant the finger, upside down and then asked him if he could hear it or if he should turn it up. All the while, everyone else in the whole place is pretending not to hear any of this exchange until the attendant yells "Excuse me, fat guy in the red shirt, stay behind the line!" Needless to say, the guy didn't cross the line anymore. Perhaps you need to have been there, but I thought it was pretty damn funny.
