I can't see real good.
So I finally returned from vacation away from Ohio. Florida was great and Ohio is still cold. Now that I am back though, I needed to get everything in order, like reading e-mail, cleaning my room, doing laundry, you know, the fun stuff. Now, my family doesn't have a cable modem :( nor do we have 2 phone lines, so my online adventures have been just that.

My adventure started with having to install AOL 7.0 (GASP!) Yeah I know. Whatever, I'd just as well throw it out the window, but it is my "connection" to the internet for now. After I deleted all the crap that it installed extra (CompuServe 2000, ICQ, AIM, High Speed Software, etc...) I logged on to find that I couldn't. Apparently my sister had given her password to her friend so that she could enjoy the "beauties" of AOL too, so I couldn't log on. After waiting an hour or so, she finally signed off and I was on to "You've got mail!" Shoot me in the face. Whoopty-shit, I've got junk mail. On to bigger and better things with my notes mail. Lots of junk there, but I got through most of it.
I then realized that grades came out today. (GASP! again) Yeah, we are all pretty screwed as far as that goes, but I figured here goes nothing. And thats just what I got. Nothing. Jack squat. The server is down apparently. Who is surprized? Ooh, ooh, not me. If it ever does resurface you can visit it here. For the time being you'll just have to be content knowing that there is no school until the 3rd.
On a related note, I just wanted to remind everyone that UD is the 16th most wired college in the US with an A- in infastructure. Check that out here. Boy, wouldn't it suck to be any lower than that? Geez at 16, only some of our stuff works part of the time.

On an incredibly surprising note, I just tried the Student Records site and found that I was, for the first time in something like six months, actually able to view my grades, transcript, degree audit, and other fun student records stuff! Not that I'm dancing for joy, but it's nice to know that I didn't flunk out this time around :-)
