Tool to be sent offshore
It has gotten rather ridiculous lately with all of the technology jobs being sent offshore, but this is too much. Late last night, GE decided that Tool's position would be moved along with the majority of his coworkers to Pune, India. Since Tool is new to the company and still under contract with GE until January of 2005, he will be moving within the next month. This sucks even worse than when Brian Young left. Damn. More to come later.

Okay, well in actuality, neither Tool nor his team is moving to India. However, Tool will be leaving within the next month to go to Plainville, CT. That's right, he's moving out to the East Coast where he'll be playing with "BIG" electricity type stuff. This is something that's been in the works for a while now, and is finally set in stone. For more information, contact Tool at Patrick.Cox@ge.com (CFdC does not take responsibility for renaming Tool to Patrick Cox, that is something GE decided to do, sorry for the confusion).

Well Congrats Tool a.k.a. Patrick Cox! I hope this new job venture leads you on to even bigger and better things! I know you will kick some major 'electrical' butt in CT and I wish you all the best there. But- I must say to all of us here in the Midwest you will always remain the one and only "Tool." Good Luck!
