So, for the second Monday in a row, the University of Dayton has canceled classes. This Monday it is just until noon.
Why don't the students get an e-mail about this sort of stuff? We have this really nice announcement list called stu-announce@udayton.edu that sends an e-mail out to everyone at the university. It would be so much nicer next week when we get another inch of snow to be able to check my e-mail before I get dressed and walk all the way to KL just to find out that I could still be laying in my nice warm bed. The university did post a little scrolling thing at the bottom of their homepage, but I check my e-mail, not the university homepage. It's quite a bit easier to send out an e-mail than to just plop some ugly yellow bar with black letters scrolling across that reads like this:
The University of Dayton is closed until noon (Monday Feb. 24) including the Children's Center
Just send out an e-mail next week UD.
