First of all, welcome back everybody ... who's back ... yeah! We're only about half moved in ... but I thought it was time everybody heard the first thoughts on crazyfarts.com's new abode, 916 Alberta Street. I am going somewhere very specific with this ... but first of all, the house is ginormous. We have so much room I'm having problems with vertigo. The basement is way oversized, huge masses of cobwebs notwithstanding (that's what the Shop-Vac is for). We do seem to have a slight ant problem, but what do you expect ... it's UD.
The best part, tho, is yet to come ..........
Tool and I were sitting in the living room on Tuesday evening. Phil was on the shitter. I don't remember what we were doing ... probably nothing. But suddenly there was a beep, and the lights went out. Hmmmm, we said. I went downstairs and reset the breaker and thought no more of it ...
... until Jim moved in.
To make a long story a little less long, after some testing, we discovered that 4 bedroom's worth of receptacles (outlets), 4 bedroom's worth of ceiling lights, the front room ceiling light, the porch light, the upstairs hall light, and the bathroom were ... are you ready ... all on once 15A circuit breaker! Hmmmmm.
This morning we called maintenance, and a couple of techs actually showed up within the hour. They said something about how there's supposed to be a dedicated circuit for each computer ... then they went in the basement and looked at the breaker box and were like, "oh ... shit." So that was pretty funny.
Aside from that, all in all the house is f'nŽ sweet. Pictures coming soon ... and parties to follow shortly after. Hope to see you all around ... PARTY!!!!!!!!
