Well, it’s been quite some time since anybody has written a story here on CFdC, and I haven’t written anything as an official CFdC member, AND there isn’t a story out about the newest Star Wars yet. So, I’ve decided to write a little article about it.

I went to go see this kick-@$$ movie this past weekend (Memorial Day), and it was just awesome. I must say that you have to put yourself through another grueling hour of a movie that just has too much dialog and not enough action. However, the second hour more than makes up for the first. In this episode of the Star Wars saga (Episode II), we see where the storm troopers come from and more importantly (in my book) we get to see why Yoda is such a BAMF.

I was really looking forward to this movie, and when I heard about all the other movies that were coming out at the same time, I thought to myself who would want to go see those other movies when you can go see the great George Lucas’ newest Star Wars adventure. Then, the other day, I found this article on Slashdot. Pretty sad if you ask me, but I guess it makes some sense. I just wish that the generation of children growing up today could have known the excitement and thrill of Luke and Leigha that we all saw in Episodes IV-VI.
